Introducing artSVG: The Open SVG Brand Library

Today we are launching artSVG, an open-source library of 4,000+ brand SVG icons for developers and designers.

Every brand deserves a place. No gatekeeping, no approval queues, no politics. If a brand exists, its icon should be freely available.

What you get

  • 4,000+ brand icons from sources like Simple Icons, svgl, and lobe-icons, merged and deduplicated
  • Multiple variants per icon: color, mono, light, dark, wordmark
  • Every format: SVG, JSX, Vue, HTML, CDN link, Data URI
  • npm packages: @artsvg/react, @artsvg/vue, @artsvg/svelte, @artsvg/cli
  • MCP server for AI assistants like Claude and Cursor

Why we built this

Existing icon libraries are fragmented. Simple Icons has great coverage but only mono variants. svgl has beautiful color icons but a smaller set. We merged the best of all worlds into one unified library.

What is next

Cloud provider icons (AWS, Azure, GCP), a Figma plugin, and community submissions at scale. Stay tuned.
